Has Web Design in India undergone a Paradigm Shift?

This is one question many are scampering to find answers to? The answers though may have still not been dug out, but then there are many innuendos one constantly bumps into which act as indications of sorts. Has the concept of Web Design in India changed with the advent of social media and other forms of internet marketing? Initially, websites were just restricted to URLs. But now that they are exposed to social media, is the onus on the Web Design Company bigger of ensuring a good, robust and satisfactory visual presence?

The Web 2.0 Methodology has reinforced the need to create a better mechanism, through which websites are designed on the latest designing tools and made to look more vibrant and unconventional, concurrently retaining aesthetics that traditionalists look for.

A study reveals that 6 official versions of HTML were released between 1995 and 2001. During the same time period, a couple of versions off the CSS too were made available to public view. The numbers may be staggering though, they do have a point to drive. The point here is that all these technologies are a great source of designing websites and ought to be attributed the greatest of importance.

The average web design company in India has to take care of this, and in fact has already started implementing this technology in the work it does. This is the reason many observers and pundits feel Web Design in India has evolved and undergone a transition with changing times.
